Diversity.ca ILLUSTRATIVE OUTLINE — FOR SCOPING DISCUSSION Built-environment access review An illustrative outline for documenting the experience of moving through a site and planning further technical work. 1. Route and area inventory Arrival points, entrances, circulation routes and service areas included in the visit. 2. Observed conditions Location-specific barriers, permitted photographs and measurements relevant to the agreed criteria. 3. Options for improvement Operational changes, potential physical work and questions for qualified design or construction professionals. A USEFUL STARTING POINT - Site locations, access arrangements and the areas to include. - Available non-sensitive floor plans and a summary of planned renovations. - A facilities contact and any restrictions affecting a visit. WHAT WE AGREE BEFORE STARTING - A visual access review does not replace engineering, building-code or permit review by qualified parties. - Intrusive testing, construction drawings and installation are excluded unless separately agreed. Final methods, contents and responsibilities are agreed in your proposal. https://diversity.ca/en/services/accessibility/built-environment/
